How script writers make appealing scripts of a feature film?

If you think writing around 90 to 100 pages of script is an overwhelming task to do, it is not true. If you are ready to go with your thoughts and plans to make the script, it is not so difficult than you think. However, writing is really painstaking and need a lot of perfection. These steps will help you know how they do it:

1.Find the story: First thing which script writers do is they search for the story that they love and this process can be time-consuming and can be difficult. Hence, extensive research is required about the theme of story and they have to stay with the rules of storytelling when it comes to sell the script. The film industry always stays in search of marketability more than originality. It doesn’t mean that originality has no value.

2.Download screenwriting software: Reading the script whose dialogs are placed four inches above the margin can be really annoying for the readers. Hence, they have to use full-functioned screenwriting software which includes the options to put the scripts on online database to share and collaborate.

3.Creating lines of characters: Characters can easily make or break the story in the plot outline. Hence, it is important to list the characters and give clear and complete description of them.

4.Don’t underestimate three-act plot: There are lots of well-established writers done very well in most scripts. Producers always take chance on them because they have made money with them before.

5.Study the three-act structure: If you don’t know about the structure and the idea of last step, just learn it. All in all, act tells the characters and world about they have to be and they can introduce the problems to be solved.

6.Dialogue: The dialogue delivery plays a great role in giving a film biggest hit. Hence, the dialogues should be well-written and you have to make sure the story is perfectly told visually. Hence, the writers keep the dialogue simple and short. The struggling writers also improvise the dialogues in rehearsal.

7.Description: Make sure each page is equal roughly to one minute of film timing. The writers also describe the action sequences with their feelings rather than writing their description. And most importantly and finally, the description should be easy to read and simple.
